Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? FISH, Inc. - Dunellen Area, invites you to join our dedicated team of volunteers in making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Since 1969, our all-volunteer organization has been a beacon of hope for those less fortunate, the elderly, the homeless, and individuals who fall through the cracks of public assistance in the greater Dunellen area and beyond.
At Fish, we believe in compassionately responding to the needs of our community through a variety of programs, including our Food Bank, Clothing Distribution, Blankets and Bedding, Holiday Meals, and Christmas Toys initiatives. These efforts are made possible through the generosity and dedication of volunteers like you, who contribute their time and skills without any compensation. It's not just about the help we provide; it's about the spirit of brotherhood and community we foster.
Volunteering with FISH means being part of an organization that touches the lives of approximately 450 families each month through food distribution, clothes for over 6,500 individuals, and special holiday support. Whether it’s receiving, sorting, storing, and distributing donations, or participating in our holiday programs, there's a place for you to make an impact. And the best part? No previous experience is necessary, just a heart ready to serve and a willingness to be part of our mission.
Getting involved is easy! If you're ready to take the step to volunteer, or if you're looking for more information, simply call our Hotline at 732-356-0081. Your hands and heart can do much to lighten another's burden.
