At Fish Inc. - Dunellen Area, every donation, big or small, goes directly to supporting our mission to assist those less fortunate, the elderly, the homeless, and those who "fall between the cracks" of public assistance in the greater Dunellen area and surrounding communities. Founded in 1969, our all-volunteer organization has dedicated itself to serving those in need with compassion and respect, relying entirely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community groups to fund our essential programs.
Donating to Fish is simple and secure. Here are the ways you can contribute to our cause:
Limited Clothing Donations
As we continue to serve those in need through our operations in our parking lot, we are pleased to resume taking LIMITED clothing donations. We will accept two (2) bags of clothing per donation. Donations can only be accepted Mondays 9 a.m. to 12 noon, when the clothing program is operational. Our programs do not operate during inclement weather. Please DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS ON THE PORCH OR ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. Doing so is considered dumping and is illegal. Any items left unattended will be disposed of immediately, no matter how nice their condition.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we maneuver this difficult period and continue to serve those in need.
Food Donations
The Fish Food Room can accept food donations only. Food will be accepted by our volunteers, in the parking lot of our location each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon, weather permitting. Please DO NOT leave food donations anywhere outside of the building.

For those who prefer to donate specific items, our Amazon Wish List is a great way to contribute goods that directly fulfill the needs of our programs and clients.
We are always in need of food and clothing donations. Items in high demand include low-salt, sugar-free, and gluten-free foods, as well as new or gently used clothing for children and adults. Please contact us to arrange a drop-off or pick-up for your items.
With your support, we can continue to provide vital services such as food distribution, clothing, blankets and bedding, and holiday meals to families and individuals facing hardship. Here are just a few ways your donation can make an impact:
Fish, Inc. is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit organization, making your donations tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon making a donation, you will receive a receipt for your records.
